For the family, I am part of
The love and affection they show me is never enough

They stand beside me always without fear

For the food, I can comfortably eat
I honestly appreciate all the lovely treats

For the roof, I have over my head
Oh, I smile each time I lie on my soft accomodating Bes

For the wisdom that comes with age
You know, one day I would love to be a sage

For the amazing gift of sight
Seeing the beauties of this world so bright

For the things I have that my money can’t afford
The way I got to spend it on my own accord

For the mistakes I’ve made in Life
Through the toil and problems, I’ve learned how to give life a high five

The ability to learn and be taught
Something in life cannot be bought

For the songs that permeate through my soul
From its Doh Reh Lah to its Soh Tee Doh

For the opportunity to give back to humanity in my little way
